PBL: Concept Posters & Pitches

Published April 12, 2021 by Cynthia Closkey

Concept posters and concept pitches are methods for presenting the key points of a new idea.

  • A concept poster is used to visually illustrate these key points.
  • A concept pitch is used to audibly convey these key points.

Often, they work together to share a prototype of an idea in order to gain support to move forward. Both concept posters and concept pitches are persuasive in nature. Concept posters are visual representations illustrating an idea. Because they are visual, they can convey ideas quickly and help people get a sense of the purpose and goals behind the idea. This helps garner support and identifies next steps for moving forward.
