Launching a new tool for students and educators

Published July 1, 2021 by Pam Gaynor

Building on a tremendous reception for our Career Journeys video library since its launch last year, we’re now offering a companion collection aimed more at helping students look at industries, companies, and post-secondary schools than at individual career stories.

We recorded the new videos, known as the Snack & Learn series, during live sessions offered in partnership with businesses, post-secondary institutions, and other community partners throughout the past school year. Like Career Journeys, the series helped open another avenue for career learning at a time when the pandemic closed off usual routes like job-shadows.

“The Snack & Learn series is a great tool for students to use independently or for educators to use with them,” said Program Director Gina Barrett. “Like our Career Journeys videos, this series can provide students with the artifacts needed to meet state standards and give them yet another way to explore fields of interest to them.”
