Thriving Futures is a team-based cohort program designed for school counselors to focus on self-identified future ready challenges in their school or district. This work may address topics such as elementary future readiness, student plans, combining SEL and future-readiness, or school-business partnerships.
Each district team must include one school counselor and one school administrator, but may include as many other educators as desired if they are involved in addressing the challenge.
Teams identify at least one future ready challenge and create a plan for addressing it. Meetings include updates and opportunities for feedback from other teams, as well as developing strategies to support the work and address the challenges the teams face. Throughout the year, Consortium staff facilitate opportunities for cross-district collaboration, connections to resources and partners, and supportive coaching to help move their work forward.
