September kicks off nominations for our annual Champions of Learning Awards. If you know strong advocates for public schools, superb classroom teachers or outstanding school or district leaders, please nominate them. But don’t stop there, because we’re also looking for businesses, organizations and others who contribute time, talents or support to create exceptional learning experiences for students across southwestern Pennsylvania. The deadline for nominations is Friday, November 18. Finalists will be named in early January and winners in seven categories—The Arts, Business Partnerships, Classroom Teaching, Community Outreach, Leadership, Technology Integration and Volunteerism—will be announced Saturday, April 1 at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center when we host our annual Champions of Learning Awards dinner.
