New Resource for Work-based Learning Support

Published January 30, 2026 by Debbie Pixton

Britebound (formerly American Student Assistance) recently launched Career Ready Network, a new portion of their Career Ready HQ website dedicated to connecting students and educators to organizations that provide or assist with developing work-based learning opportunities. The Consortium was honored to be invited to be one of many organizations featured, among other local partners like the Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce and Schools That Can.

As a national organization with a mission to assist young people as they explore careers and plan for their future, Britebound offers a variety of online resources dedicated to connecting students and educators to organizations that provide or assist with developing work-based learning opportunities.

In addition to connecting viewers with organizations in their network, Career Ready HQ also features information on each states’ career readiness policies as well as resources school leaders might use to inform their work.
