FRPC Offers Engaging Learning for Employers and Educators

Published May 4, 2026 by Debbie Pixton

“I thoroughly enjoyed today. Speakers were phenomenal. Love the fact that they could share what students need. Very professional and so well-versed. Very motivational program. I hope to be a part of it next year.”  – FRPC 2026 participant

If you weren’t able to attend the 2026 Future Ready Partnerships Conference (FRPC), a quote like that might make you feel like you missed out on something special. You would be right. On the last day of March, nearly 200 educators, industry professionals, and community partners gathered at CCAC Boyce Campus to build meaningful partnerships that prepare students for the future while helping employers connect with educators who are preparing their future workforce.

The conference included a panel, breakout sessions, table talks, and networking. But what made the conference memorable was the energy. Like a classroom with engaged students, people brought what they had to share and were ready to learn from each other. From serious questions to laughter, real engaged learning that leads to change was front and center.

While details about the conference have been described in a previous article, you can’t walk away without knowing that participants were grateful, which propels us to continue to offer opportunities like these to meet the needs across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Whether you joined us this year, or had to miss us this time, watch for future opportunities to join us in 2026-2027, or contact Gina Barrett or Jenn Sethman to get involved.

The Consortium would like to thank our generous sponsors, PNC, UPMC Health Plan, and Carnegie Mellon University’s Leonard Gelfand Center for their support in making this conference possible.
