The Forum

Educators collaborating at The Forum

Most educators spend their days in classrooms, isolated from opportunities to learn with peers, much less lead. Even those working in administration or support functions often are confined by role, with few opportunities for cross-disciplinary or regional collaboration.

With a mission of developing leadership skills and providing opportunities to apply them, The Forum brings together teams of teachers, counselors, administrators and other school personnel to work on projects aimed at helping their districts address high priority goals.

In the course of the projects, which are expected to produce measurable impact, the Consortium’s staff provides coaching, research and other support.

Designed as a professional learning network, The Forum convenes three times during the school year. A summer leadership convening provides teams with opportunities to network, exchange ideas and share best practices with peers from other districts.
