The Future Is Mine (TFIM)

Published March 30, 2021 by danShift

We all know people who realized from an early age just who they wanted to be and what they wanted to do. But they’re rare. Even in high school, most kids are still searching. There’s no shortcut, but our career exploration and leadership development program for high school students, The Future Is Mine (TFIM) is designed to help.

Every year, TFIM gives hundreds of kids opportunities to explore careers and prepare for them. Often, these opportunities take place on-site at workplaces across the region, but due to COVID-19, they’ll be virtual until further notice.

Students also work on team projects that connect them with employers in the community while developing skills they’ll need to be successful in the workplace—from organization and planning, to communications and collaboration.
