The Consortium kicks off summer with two professional development opportunities. First up is an Introduction to Design Thinking for Education, a series of four half-day workshops beginning June 21 that will acquaint participants with the design cycle and how different Human-Centered Design methods can be used. Participants will leave with the knowledge and skills they need to implement strategies for defining challenges, brainstorming, facilitating feedback, building empathy into the process, and more. Register now to attend.
Beginning July 19, we’ll be offering An Introduction to Project-Based Learning (PBL), a series of four half-day workshops designed to give educators a chance to learn the basics or brush up on skills. Educators who participate will not only be introduced to the 10 design elements of PBL, but also work to apply these elements and create a project plan for use in their classrooms. Register now to attend.
