PNC executive joins Consortium Board as two members step down
The Consortium welcomed a new member to its Board July 1 and said goodbye to two others who recently stepped down. Our newest member is Joshua Stewart, Vice President and Director of Talent Programs for PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. Stepping down after multiple terms are Richard D’Ottavio, Vice President, Treasury Management Dept. of Dollar Bank, and Jennifer Highfield, Social Business Communications Manager for PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.
“Josh will be a tremendous resource to us,” said Executive Director Mary Kay Babyak. “Through his work at PNC, he is uniquely positioned to bring perspective on helping young people develop the transferrable skills that are critical to their future success.”
Stewart became acquainted with the Consortium after collaborating on a pilot project to bring pre-employment training into high schools for students who need or want to seek employment immediately following graduation.
In his current capacity at PNC, he maintains oversight for the enterprise-wide intern programs, line-of- business development programs, K-12 partnerships, diversity recruiting strategy and office of accessibility.
A PNC employee for 15 years, he previously served as a senior manager on the Leadership and Executive Development team, the corporate Diversity and Inclusion team and held various roles within PNC Bank’s Consumer Lending business.
Commenting on our Board departures, Babyak said “Both Rich and Jenn have been dedicated to our work and committed to their service on our Board. Jenn has been a tireless advocate for many years and Rich has shared his tremendous financial insight.
“Both also have helped bring resources to our programming, particularly our career exploration program for high school students, The Future Is Mine,” Babyak noted. “We truly appreciate their outstanding service.”
